One Houston Together
Through One Houston Together, the Greater Houston Partnership galvanizes the business community to transform our region into a more inclusive place to live, work, and build a business.
Guided by the Inclusive Opportunity Steering Committee, one of the Partnership’s three board-level direction-setting committees, One Houston Together brings together a network of over 120 businesses, institutions, and nonprofits. This work offers members data-driven insights, industry benchmarks, peer learning, and best practices to drive change in two key areas: creating pathways for talent advancement and leveraging our collective buying power.

The Partnership’s Racial Equity Principles reflect Houston’s business community’s shared pledge to advance equity. This framework guides efforts to reform systems of bias, strengthen underserved communities, and remove barriers to opportunity, within organizations and across the region.

Regional Assessment
The Houston Regional Equity & Inclusion Assessment tracks how companies are advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. In 2023, 92 organizations employing over 265,000 Houstonians participated. Results show progress in BIPOC representation and upward mobility, with Houston outpacing national trends in key equity benchmarks.
Inclusive Sourcing Resources
This directory lists Partnership members that are also minority business enterprises and spotlights those with a proven track record of delivering quality goods and services to corporate and institutional buyers across the region.
MBE Economic Impact Report
This report, developed by One Houston Together and HMSDC, highlights the economic impact of HMSDC-certified minority business enterprises in the nine-county Houston region. While not exhaustive, the data offers a powerful estimate of how MBEs are contributing to our region’s growth and economic strength.
